THE PUBLIC’S DUTY' TO NEW ZEALAND SOME HINTS TO MANUFACTURERS' f Every man admires a beautiful woman and every man and woman must admire the beautiful articles turned out by our factories. Clothes are a brighter hue, have a greater range of attractive patterns, and prices have been reduced to a point that makes us in this - ' age of economy feel that we save money by purchasing New Zealand made goods. Obviously our doing so will not only save money but will increase employment, and this is sadly needed. Let the reader-man or woman —feel that it is a duty, to New Zealand to purchase every New Zealand made article that in quality, style and price competes with goods from other countries. We men wish to see our womenfolk looking their best, and we urge the manufacturers to put on .the markets goods that will make our womenfolk crazy 'to buy. The ladies want something dainty in shoes. Manufacturers, your job is to supply these at attractive prices. Winter is at hand. We want intriguing woollen garments, light, chic, stylish and low priced. We in tqnd to study every window of New Zealand made goods and feel sure our verdict will be that New. Zealand has advanced greatly in the get up of all its goods, and we will support New Zealand. .Wool, hides, skins and timber are here in profusion, and the skilful manufacturer turns them into artistic, appealing, useful, lasting and Tow priced necessities.
