LAWRENCE NOTES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) LAWRENCE, May 17. BIBLE CLASS CAMP. A Bible class camp under the auspices of the Presbyterian Church Young Men’s Bible Class Union was held at Evans Flat from May 12 to 16, 45 members of the different classes in Otago being present. The Rev. H. H. Barton, of Lawrence; was the camp father. A special service was held in the Presbyterian Church on Sunday night, the Rev. Mr Mitchell, of Clydevale, being the preacher. CLUTHA PRESBYTERY. At a meeting of the Clutha Presbytery, held at Lawrence yesterday, unanimous calls of tlie Rev. H. R. Chisholm (Cromwell) to Waitahuna, and the Rev. J. J. Bates (Riversdale) to Lovell’s Flat, were sustained.
