Thursday, May 12. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Robert Joseph Moore, who appeared on a charge of drunkenness, was remanded for a week for medical attention. Francis M'Clusky, a statutory • first offender for drunkenness, was lined 10s, in default 24 hours’ imprisonment. ALLEGED THEFT? A young man, whose name was suppressed until the facts of the case have been gone into, was charged with the /theft, at Picton, of a motor car, £lO in money, a camping outfit, and other goods, of a total value of £194 2s (id, the property of William Hay Couston.—On the application of Chief Detective Young he was remanded to appear at Blenheim on May IS.
