RIGHT TO GOVERN

CLAIM OF THE NAZIS WARNING TO ADVERSARIES. LONDON, April 28. “ Let our adversaries cherish no illusions, we Nazis are powerful enough to make life unpleasant for our defeated foes.” This warning is contained in a statement issued by the Nazi headquarters, says the Munich correspondent of The Times, and is in reference to the result of the Prussian elections. The Nazi statement protests against “ the attempts of our political opponents to rob us of the fruits of victory.” “ We have the right to govern Prussia,” the document asserts, “and we will not tolerate the stultification of the people’s will by our totally vanquished adversaries. “ We warn the nation that the responsibility of any consequences that may ensue from ignoring the results of the elections will fall on those who refuse to recognise the verdict of the people. “ What is claimed with regard to Prussia applies also to other German States, and to the Reich,”
