"‘J Sir. —Down through the ages, disciples of Christ, who have been courageous enough to dare suggest they would use their Christian influence to make the earth a part of Christ’s Kingdom, have been ridiculed and ieven persecuted. Must this happen to the signatories to the Methodist ministers’ pronouncement? Let, us hope not. As a Presbyterian, I hope I may live to view, the day. when the safely entrenched ministers of' my owr church join hands with their Methodist—or should it not be methodical?—brethren — I am. etc., Caurnie.
