PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of Section 3 of By-law No. 19, 1927, of the City of'Dunedin, that the Dunedin City Council at its meeting held on the 16th day of March, 1932, Passed the following Resolution Regulating the Standing Time of Vehicles in Portion of George and Princes streets on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and Thursday Evening preceding Good Friday:— “In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the City By"law No. 19 (1927), the Dunedin City “Council hereby makes the following "additional regulation determining the " places where and the conditions under “which the particular classes of “ vehicles hereinafter referred to may “be allowed to remain unattended or “attended, and the period of time such “ vehicles may so remain at each place—"viz.: — “ Section 2 of the regulations made by “the Council on the 27th day of July, " 1927, is hereby extended by the addi"tion of the following proviso to sub“sections 1 and 2 thereof—viz.:— “ ‘ Provided that on Christmas Eve,, "New Year’s Eve, and the Thursday “evening preceding Good Friday be- “ tween the hours of 6 o’clock p.m. “and 10 o’clock p.m. no vehicles of “ any description shall be allowed to “remain either attended or unattended in that portion'of George street “between Frederick street and the "centre of the Octagon and in that “portion of Princes street between “ the centre of the Octagon and Manse "street, for a longer period than the “time actually occupied in taking up “ or setting down passengers or goods “ as the case may be.’ ” The foregoing Regulation shall come Into force immediately upon the publication of this notice, and shall thereupon have the same force and effect as if the same were incorporated in the By-law above referred to.
