ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (Per United Press Association 1 MASTERTON, February 26. The election of officers at the annual conference of the Gas Institute of New Zealand resulted as follow:—President, Mr W. B. O’Toole (Invercargill); vicepresident, Mr Harry Atkinson (Auckland) ; secretary, Mr A. Morrie Taylor (Timaru); treasurer, Mr G. A. Macfarlane (Christchurch); council—Messrs James Learmonth (Masterton), James Low (Auckland), L. Pickering (Napier), H. Appleyard (Lower Hutt); honorary auditor, Mr J, J. Hurley (Christchurch); trustee, Mr F. W. J. Belton (Christchurch). The conference was concluded to-day after sessions extending over three days.
