(From Our Own Correspondent.) MILTON, February 24. A CORRECTION. In the report of the monthly sitting of the local Magistrate’s Court, which appeared in Saturday’s issue, an unfortunate duplication made it appear that Alexander Leonard was fined twice for overloading a motor lorry on December 24. One penalty was imposed against Alexander Leonard. The other charge was against Joseph Bowers, who was fined £2, with costs (31a), for overloading a lorry when carting lime between Lovell’s Flat and Hillend on December 3, on a fourth-class road. HORTICULTURAL SHOW. Following completes the prize list of the Bruce Horticultural Society’s Autumn Show, held yesterday afternoon and evening:— Special Trophies.—Most points in sweet peas: W. B. Paterson. Most points in cut flowers: W. B. Paterpon T, Mrs E. Currie 2. Most points in*'decorative and floral work; Mrs T. ht’Laren. Most points in school children’s competitions: Luenda M‘Neur.
