Results: — Singles.—Harada hea 1 Willard, 4 —o, 6 —2, C—4; Crawford beat Satoh, C —o, 6 — 4 ; Dunlop beat Nunoi, C —l, 2—45, 11—9. Doubles. —Crawford and Willard (New South Wales) boat Harada and Satoh (Japan) I—6, 6—3, 6 —2; Crawford and Dunlop beat Harada and Nunoi, 6 —2, 3—6, 6—4. New South Wales leads Japan by four rubbers, nine sets, and 71 games to one rubber, five sets, and 59 games.
