BANK OF NEW ZEALAND
RETIREMENTS AND PROMOTIONS (Special to Daily Times.) WELLINGTON, January 10. The managers of several branches of the Bank of New Zealand retired on pension at the end of last year. The changes consequent upon the retirements are as follows: — Mr D. S. White, manager at Kaitaia, North Auckland, who retired after 39 years’ service, has been succeeded by Mr John O’Sullivan, formerly manager at Taneatua. Mr White was at Kaitaia for 15 years, prior to which he was manager at Waiuku for two years. Mr C. J. Clery, manager at Milton, has been succeeded after 39 years’ service by Mr L. M. Scott, formerly manager at Bluff. Prior to going to Milton in 1926 Mr Clery was accountant at Westport for a number of years. Mr Scott’s successor at Bluff is Mr A. S. Bell, formerly manager at Outram. Mr L. R. Jordan, formerly manager at Mnnaia, has succeeded Mr 11. Bockett, manager at Pukekohe who retired after 39 years’ service, the last two years of which were spent at Pnkokohe. Mr A. H. O. Orr, manager at Sydenham for the past nine years, retired after 40 years’ service, his successor being Mr F. J. Pender, of Kohukohu, whose place lias been taken by Mr T. C. Bowler, of the Kawhia branch. In addition to the above managerial changes, two members of the head office staff in Wellington retired on pension at the end of last yeai\ They are Mr A. L. Craig, who was with the bank for 4.1 years, and M W, M‘Nab, who has had 36 years’ service and was formerly with the Colonial Bank for some years.
