Save money.— Wren's A quaint cameo ring, wbieh is alleged to make its wearer yawn, has been left to Lord Rathcroedan by his uncle, the late Colonel Reuben Norton, of Cemmaes, Montgomeryshire. The bequest is known ns the “ Yawning Man,” the cameo being carved to represent the head of a man who is yawning. “ I do not know its history,” Lord Rathcrcedan said lately, “ but rny uncle was keen on keeping it in the family. Its original owner was my great-great-grandfather, William Norton, of Dublin, who was born in 1758. “ The legend that the cameo has the power to make people yawn has always existed. It is probably duo to the fact that yawning is infectious, and that if yon see other people yawn you are apt to yawn yourself. I cannot say that it makes me yawn.”
