It is reported that people are to be charged a penny for admission to Kew Gardens, London. Ninety years ago, Dr Lindloy recorded bis experiences during a visit to the same gardens. “Yon rang a boll by the side of a wooden gate,” lie said, “ which of itself was perfectly emblematic of the secrecy, the unnatural privacy of the working principle within.
