CONGRATULATIONS FROM SUPPORTERS.

(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, December 5. On the way to his home at Cheviot today the Prime Minister (Mr G. W. IForbes) called at Rangiora and received l:he congratulations of a good number ol ids supporters. Mr Forbes, speaking to a. crowd of 100, thanked the electors of Hurunui for the fine support accorded hdm. He expressed gratification that the Coalition Government had received a mandate to continue on the_ lines adopted for f;he purpose of ensuring the national stability of the country. He referred to ti'ie difficulties to be faced and gave an ai isurance that as Prime Minister he would continue to do his part, unpleasant though it might be. „ ~ ~ At the conclusion of his address j Mr Eforbes was cheered and “For He s a Ji>ily Good Fellow" was sung.
