DREW.—On September 21. 1931, at Dunedin, Mary, beloved wife of John Drew, 101 Moray place; aged 53 years. Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave the residence on Wednesday, 23rd Inst., at 2.30 p.m., for the Northern Cemetery.—R. M'Lean and Son, undertakers.
GEDNEY. —On September 21, 1931, at his residence, Makarewa, Southland, John William. dearly beloved husband of Fanny Elizabeth Gedney; aged 73 years. HANAN. —On September 21, 1931, at Invercargill. James Albert, dearly beloved husband of Joan Mary Hanan, In his seventieth year.—Private Interment. No flowers.
HOWELL. —On September 20, 1931, at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr B. Nichol, Thomas, beloved husband of the late Mary Howell: aged 76 years.—The Funeral will leave his late residence, Outram, on Wednesday, 23rd Inst., at 9 a.m., for the Hamilton Cemetery, passing the residence of Mr William Howell, Waipiata, at 1.30 p.m.— Robt. Mulrhead, undertaker. ■
