LOYAL CAVERSHAM LODGE BALL

JUBILEE CELEBRATION By Phillida. With its charming and dignified atmosphere, together with a stage adornment of a huge lodge banner, the concert chamber of the Town Hall proved a fitting place in which to hold the jubilee ball given by the Loyal Caversham Lodge in honour of its fiftieth anniversary. There was a very large attendance of members and country delegates from all over Otago, and excellent music and an attractive supper helped greatly towards the enjoyment of the dancers. The supper room wore a festive air, with streamers of various colours about the room * and gas-filled balloons bobbed merrily from every chair. The grand march was led off by P.P.G.M. Bro. J. Wilson and Mrs Wilson, and was followed by Noble Grand Bro. J. Miller and Mrs Miller, P.G. Master Bro. E. Longworth and Mrs Longworth, Pr 6. Treasurer Bro. A. Sligo and Mrs Sligo, and P.P.G.M. Bro.
