TEN PER CENT. CUT

PROTEST BY WATERSIDE WORKERS. f (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 3. The Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union to-day passed a resolution against the 10 per cent, cut being enforced in the case of the waterside workers, and of lack of confidence in or respect for the Arbitration Court. The resolution said that the cut meant an annual reduction in the earnings of waterside workers of £IOO,OOO, 90 per cent, of which went to the directors of overseas chipping companies.
