(Received Aug. 10, at 9 p.m.) William Calnan and George Guest were before the Centra] Summons Court on charges under the Customs Act arising out of the importation of the racehorse Simba. Calnan is charged with wrongfully! stating the value of the horse and with- having wrongly_ described Simba. Guest is charged with having understated Simba’s value at £l5O. The case was adjourned for a fortnight.
