(Gore), £9 0s 9d, for goods supplied, with costs (15s). JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. The Public Trustee v. Jaifies William Pope, claiming £37 3s fid. —After the defendant had given evidence with reference to his financial position, the magistrate refused to make an order. RESERVED JUDGMENT. Reserved judgment was given in the case in which Battersby and Co. (Mr O. Stevens) proceeded against John Frederick Rosenbrock (Mr R. M. King) claiming £SO, on the grounds that the defendant had given the plaintiff an I O U for that amount. After reviewing the evidence dthe magistrate gave judgment for the defendant, with costs (£6 4s). . The salting of “Huia” Butter with “ lodised ” Salt is commended by the medical profession.—Advt.
