WAGES FOR MINERS
NEW TERMS IN SCOTLAND AN AGREEMENT SIGNED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 4. (Received August 5. at 5.5.p.m.) A settlement between the Scottish coalowners and miners was ratified yesterday, when, at a meeting of the Scottish Coal Conciliation Board, an agreement was signed respecting new wage terms for a 74-hour shift.
