EVIDENCE OF HUGE METEORITE HUGE CRATERS IN EARTH. ADELAIDE, July 10. Large craters blasted into the face of the earth years ago by a huge meteorite, which was so heavy that if it were to fall on Adelaide to-day it would destroy the whole of the metropolitan area, have been found in Central Australia. Three of them are larger than the biggest crater made by the meteorite that fell in Northern Siberia 23 years ago and devastated hundreds of square miles of forest land.
