BOWLING

ROSLYN LADIES’ SECTION. The annual meeting of the ladies’ section of the Roslyn Bowling Club was held in the club’s pavilion on Thursday afternoon, when there was a large attendance of members. The report and balance sheet were presented, and showed a satisfactory state of affairs. The election of office-bearers for the coming season resulted as follows: —President, Mrs A. J. Allen: vice-presidents, Mrs J. W. Thomas and Mrs W. A. Wilkinson; treasurer, Mrs W. A. Mackay; secretary. Mrs G. T. Dennis; committee— Mesdnmea Abbott. Mee, Mullenger, C. Wilkinson, S. Wood, and Miss Ross; delegate to centre, Mrs Mullenger; selectors —Mesdames Abbott, Mullenger, and W. A. Wilkinson. ■ A handsome honours board was presented by Mr and Mrs J. W, Thomas, to whom the thanks of the club were heartily extended.
