(Peu Untied Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 19. A number of unemployed this morning occupied a house from which the tenant was to be evicted for non-payment of rent. The police arrived, but there was no disorder. Later a member o'Parliament undertook the responsibility for the payment of the arrears of rent.' GISBORNE, June’ 19. The blockage on the North road continues, and to-day Gisborne is without mails from the south, owing to slips on the Napier road at the Devil’s Elbow holding up traffic.
