The Walmarlno 1 ' arrived yesterday from Auckland, via ports, and was berthed at Birch street wharf to discharge and load general cargo. She Is to sail to-day for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Oplhl Is due here to-morrow from Wellington. She will discharge and load general cargo on Monday, and sail the same day for Nelson and New Plymouth, via ports. The Kahlka Is due on Monday from Gisborne to load general cargo. She will sail on Tuesday for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Napier and Gisborne. The Walpiata Is to leave Auckland to-day with general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. 1 The Union Company advises that the Maheno, which Is relieving the Wahlne In the LyttcltonWelllngton service. Is due at Port Chalmers on Tuesday. She will, be laid up for an indefinite period. The C. 'and D. Lino motor ship Port Fairy left Wellington last Monday for Napier and Auckland to complete her Homeward loading. She Is to clear Auckland finally on June 24 for London, via Panama. The Union steamer Walotapu has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland this morning from Los Angeles. The vessel has cargo from Pacific coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Bluff, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Union Company has received cable advice that the chartered motor tanker Athclqueen left San Pedro on June 14 for Wellington, and that the motor tanker Otokla left the same port on June 15, also for Wellington. The Athelquecn Is due at Wellington on July 9, and the 1 Otokla the following day. Both vessels are bringing hulk fuel oil. NORTH CAPE LIGHT. The Marine Department has received advice that the North Cape light Is out. It will be relighted about July 6 by the Government steamer Matal. THE TANKER NEW ZEALAND. Advice has been received that the tanker New Zealand will arrive at Dunedin on June 27 from Los Angeles, via Australian ports. She will discharge bulk motor spirit and kerosene for the Texas Company (Australasia), Ltd., and will then sail for northern New Zealand ports. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The quantity of coal, Including bunkers, shipped at Newcastle during the week ended June 5 for places beyond the State was 50,415 tons, of which 1200 tons represented overseas bunkers, states the Dally Commercial News and Shipping List. The improvement In the coal trade has been maintained this week as the aggregate is one of the highest since last year. For the corresponding period in 1930 the total was 24,365 tons. Tons.
