WELLINGTON, June 16.

Although there was little sunshine, the weather was fine in Wellington to-day. The wind turned to the south during the day. The afternoon was cold. CHRISTCHURCH, June 16.

The sky was overcast, and there was a cold breeze from the south-west. The maximum temperature was 46deg. The barometer is steady, the reading to-night being 30.05 in.
