PRISON ROMANCE
TITLED WOMAN’S LOVE LETTERS A prison romance in England in which a titled woman played the chief role is being rinvestigated by the prison authorities. The Sunday Express recently related how a titled woman was introduced to an ex-public schoolboy convict in prison with the object of effecting a reconciliation with his family. The woman’s visits led to the pair falling deeply in love, and as prisoners are allowed only one letter a mouth, a system of smuggling love letters and photographs into the prison was devised, and was only discovered after throe years. The pair were engaged to be married soon.
