ECONOMIC PENSIONS
A 10 PER CENT. REDUCTION RETURNED SOLDIERS AFFECTED (Peb United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, June 10. Returned Soldiers’ Associations throughout the Dominion have been advised that all- economic pensions payable to exsoldiers are being reduced 10 per cent, from June 1. The reduction does not apply to pensions granted for physical disablement or to the dependents of exsoldiers or to old age and other pensions. The cut in the economic pension will be discussed at the forthcoming annual conference of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association.
