A NUISANCE
' v, TO THE EDITOR, t. Sir.— Repeated complaints, have been lodged 'with the health authorities with reference to the effluvium arising from manure heaps lying uncovered in the vicinity of Bay View road and Kirkcaldy street, and they have been asked if they can afford relief to residents, iwo cases of diphtheria have occurred m the vicinity and one naturally associates these with the uncovered heaps of manure. Surely one should be able to demand that the nuisance be stopped.—l am, etc., ■ Patient Sufferer.
