HARD COURTS CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Feom Otjb Own Cobbespondent.) LONDON, May 1. Mr F. M. B. Fisher, entered for the doubles events at the Bournemouth hard courts championships. In the, third round of the mixed doubles the New Zealander and Mile A. Neufeld were defeated by Dr P. D. B. Spence and Miss Betty Nuthall, 6—4, 6—2. In the men’s doubles, first round, Fisher and S. R. Youdale beat Commander P. F. Glover, R.N., and Commander H. A. Packer, R.N., 3—6, 8-—2, 6—l, B—6, but next day they went under to J. S. Olliff and F. J. Perry, 9—7, 6—2, 6—4. ■'
