UNREGISTERED DENTIST

FINE OF £ls IMPOSED. (Per United Press Association.) WAIHI, June 9. Selwyn M. Hovell, of Waihi, pleaded guilty to a _ charge of practising dentistry without being registered. The prosecution was brought at the instance of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Deptal Association, and Mr R. N, Moody, for the association, pointed out that the amending Act of 1921 provided for a penalty of £IOO for each offence, an indication of the serious view which the Legislature took of the matter. Hovell was fined £ls.
