(Peb United Press Association.) TAUMARANUI, June 8. This morning, while H. W. Glynn, officer in charge at Waikune Prison Camp, and two warders were searching for a man who had escaped from Rangipo Prison Camp last Tuesday, they caught another man in Mr John Cullen’s residence at National Park, and arrested him on a charge of breaking and entering. A few minutes later they apprehended three men with a car which is alleged to have been stolen from Pukekohe last night. WELLINGTON, June 8. At about 8.30 on Saturday evening the door of H, J. Freeman’s jewellers shop at 13 Manners street was shattered by a gelignite explosion. The police were soon on the scene, and took charge, but none of the jewellery stock had been removed ' from the premises. The gelignite had apparently been attached to the door handle, and exploded by a quick-time fuse.
