MEETINGS AND AMUSEMENTS The following is a list of the meetings, conferences, and amusements, which will be held in Dunedin during Show Week: — TUESDAY. JUNE 2. Opening of the Winter’ Show by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr A. J. Murdoch) at 2.30 p.m. The judging of the various sections will be commenced at 9.30 a.m., while the show will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. 10 a.m.—Annual meeting of the Otago Farmers’ Union Mutual Fire Insurance Association. 11 a.m.—Annual conference of the Otago Provincial Council of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union. 2.15 p.m.—Annual meeting and conference of the Provincial Council of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union. 8 p.m.—Annual meeting of Otago A. and P. Society. v Orphans’ Club. •’ ! His Majesty’s Theatre.—“A Country Girl.’’ Picture entertainments. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3. Logan Park.—Ladies’ Hockey tournajnent. 8 p.m.—Ladies’ Hockey Association Ball in the Town Hall. Reunion of South African War veterans in the Officers’ Club rooms.
