REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daxlt Times.) AUCKLAND, April 12. Boisterous south-westerly weather prevailed. .at Auckland during the week-end. Frequent showers were experienced on Saturday, but to-day is fine and sunny. The barometer fell to 29.40 in at mid-day on Saturday, and now registers 29.95 in. WELLINGTON, April 12. Heavy southerly weather prevailed in Wellington on Saturday, heavy rain squalls occurring throughout the day. Sixteen points of rain fell. The rain cleared during the night, and to-day there was bright sunshine, with a light southerly breeze. The sea. which was very rough on Saturday evening, moderated rapidly, and to-dav was comparatively calm. CHRISTCHURCH, April 12. The weather was dull on with some rain and a south-west wind. To-day was sunny and pleasant, with a light E.N.E. breeze. The barometer is rising slowly, and now registers 30.05.
