MOTOR CYCLES COLLIDE

ONE MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED THE OTHER RIDER ARRESTED. (Per United Press Association.) % THAMES, April 11. With a terrific impact two motor cycles collided at 7 o’clock last evening on the Thames-Kopu road, resulting in the admission of Lionel Thomas, a young married man, a resident of Ponsonby, to the hospital in a critical condition. The police this morning arrested the other rider, William Farmer Scott, a farm hand, of Matatoki, on a charge of negligent driving and causing bodily harm. He was remanded for a week, bail being allowed. Thomas’s depositions are being taken.
