RUGBY FOOTBALL
ZINGARI, DEFEATS MATAKANUI The Zingari football team, Dunedin, defeated the Matakanui team at Omakau on Easter Saturday by 16 points to nil. The play was for the most part of a very 'ragged nature, relieved by occasional flashes of good play. Heazlowood scored seven points for his side with excellent kicking, while three tries were registered by Stevenson. Other good exhibitions were given by S. and A. Procter (Zingari) and Liddle, Robertson, and Kilgour (Matakanui). Mr W. Wilson was the referee.
