JAPANESE CABINET
RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) KOBE, April 10. (Received April 11, at 1 a.m.) After courageously facing heckling in the Diet, the Prime Minister (Mr Hamaguchi) collapsed. He will undergo a further operation. This, added to the Government’s acknowledged financial failure, decided tho Cabinet to-day to hand in its resignation. It is considered impossible that the Opposition will succeed in forming a Cabinet owing to the paucity of its members. The necessity for the issue of bonds, despite the Cabinet’s declaration of no borrowing, was a big factor in compelling the resignation.
