(Received April 2, at 2 a.m.) In a special interview which was received late to-night from Lord Howe Island Captain Chichester described the trip from New Zealand to Norfolk Island as uneventful, with a following The anchorage at Norfolk Island is the worst in the world, and damaged the floats, which leaked on today’s flight to Lord Howe Island. There wae a bumpy, strong north-easter and the machine vibrated violently, making it impossible to guess the altitude. The anchorage at Lord Howe Island ie ideal and the island itself is very pretty.
