TASMAN YACHT RACE
i RANGI STILL UNREPORTED !■ (United Press Association.) . (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 1. (Received April 1, at 5.5 p.m.) The South Head signal station advises that a yacht which was carrying two masts and small lights, and resembled the Rangi, entered the heads early this morning. When called on to' give her name the yacht failed to do eo and disappeared in haze and drizzling rain. Visibility at the time was very bad, but it is surmised that the arrival is the Rangi. . SMACK MISTAKEN FOR YACHT. SYDNEY, April 1. (Received April 1, at 5.5 p.m.) The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron advises that it can find no trace of the yacht Rangi. The vessel which entered the harbour in the early hours was a fishing smack. NOT REPORTED AT NIGHTFALL. SYDNEY, April 1. (Received April 1, at 10 ; p.m.The Rangi had not been reported at nightfall. The lightkeeper at South Head has asked every incoming vessel whether she had seen the Rangi, but a negative reply has been received 'in every instance. The weather at sea at present is very thick. I
