NEW ZEALAND STUDENTS.

EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, January 2. Sixty-four graduates were capped by Principal Sir Thomas Holland at a graduation ceremonial at Edinburgh University on December 19. The degree of Doctor of Medicine was awarded to lan Brandon Ewart, son of Dr J. Ewart, Wellington. At a meeting of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, lately held, 30 successful candidates out of 95 entered who passed the requisite examinations between September 29 and October 7, were admitted fellows. Among them were: lan Comyn Fraser, M. 8., Ch.B. University New Zealand, 1925 (Dun- ' edin); Alexander Smith Morton, M. 8., Ch.B. University New Zealand, 1918; and James Duncan Murdoch, M. 8., Ch.B. University New Zealand, - 1927.
