£530,000 GOES IN SMOKE. Accompanied by a heavily-armed guard for fear of thieves, Customs officials at Shanghai early one morning recently transported across the river 6621 bof heroin and 6231 b of morphine recently seized from the steamers Col Di Lana and Cracovia for the purpose of burning the consignments.
