PERSONAL.
- Lady Roberts, of Lower Hutt, Wellington, who has been visiting her father-in-law, Sir John Roberts, left on Saturday for her home. Mr A. S. Malcolm, M.L.C., travelled on Saturday from Balclutha to Ashburton by train. Mr W. B. Dixon, chairman of the Bluff Harbour Board, has been in town for a few days. Mr A. J. Baker, inspecting engineer of the Public Works Department, left Dunedin on Saturday for Wellington. Mr W’alter Barrow, who is a director in the firm of Cadburys, Ltd., left Dunedin for Christchurch on Saturday. His immediate destination is Hobart, and from there he will travel to England. R. G. Bush, the Auckland University cricketer and Rugby footballer, will leave this week for Otago University. Bush is one of the best all-round cricketers in Auckland at present (says the New Zealand Herald), and w-as considered in many quarters very unlucky not to gain representative honours this season. He will be a tower of strength to the cricket club which secures his services in Dunedin. He will also be a decided acquisition to the Rugby game, as he has represented Auckland on several occasions.
