RECORD REGISTRATIONS. TOTAL FOR DOMINION, 17,556. (Special to Daily Times.) WELLINGTON, February G. Another record for registrations at the Labour Department’s unemployment bureaux wae established for the week ended February 2, when the total number registered for the Dominion was 17,556. This is an increase of 949 over the previous week. The following are the figures for the main centres. With Without Dependents Dependents Auckland .. 2213 2187 Wellington .. 1369 1046 Christchurch 1370 685 Dunedin .. 588 403 Invercargill 184 125 The following are the totals for the main centres, the figures for the previous week being given in parentheses: — Auckland 4400 (3900), Wellington 2415 (2253), Christchurch 2055 (2100), Dunedin 1051 (994), Invercargill 309 (281).
