Valued at £BOOO, a British Guiana stamp recently exhibited in Boston if regarded as the costliest square inch of paper in the world. This issue wat printed in 1856 in Guiana by a local printer, as the supply, of stamps had run out, and the specimen exhibited at Boston is believed to be the only one in existence.
