A GRIM WEEK-END
MANY VIOLENT DEATHS. IN AND AROUND SYDNEY, (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 23. A grim week-end of violent deaths was followed by a number ol tragic happenings. A man blew his brains out at Mosman. Another dropped dead at the door of the ambulance station. A girl was savagely attacked by a man with the mitt of a rifle near" Kyogle, and is dying. A machinist was badly hurt when lie dug his electric drill into a plug of gelignite in the road at Woy Woy. A one-legged man was badly burnt while fire fighting at Rosebery. A seaman fell down a ship’s hold. A youth met with a shocking accident w\hen attempting to vault a spiked fence and became impaled. An old man was gored to death by a bull at North Richmond, and eight people were hurt when two trams collided at Brighton.
