, LONDON, December 8. Although he bad dealt in money by the million for many yearsi including contracts with the New South Wales Government, lor the breaking of which he ultimately received £36,000 as compensation, the late Sir John Norton-Griffiths left an estate of only £5392. ‘ At the time of bis, self-imposed death by shooting in Alexandria on September 27 last he was engaged oh a contract for £2,000,000 for additions to the Assuan dam, in Egypt, and it was reported that he was in difficulties over it. ■
