TRAMWAYS BAND CARNIVAL.

On Tuesday evening the Tramways IJand will commence a carnival in the Royal Arcade, which will be specially opened for the purpose. The official opening will be performed by Cr Scott chairman of the City Council Tramways Committee. Competitions of all kinds will be held, and an abundance of arnusement devices will be in evidence. Father Christmas ” will arrive in state on Wednesday afternoon with a treat for the children. Music will be supplied by the 3rd Artillery and Tramways Bands during the carnival.
