TOUR OF THE WORLD

MOTORISTS HOME AGAIN. CAMBRIDGE UNDERGRADUATES. LONDON, December 3. Two Cambridge undergraduates, C. E. Shippam and J., Dixon, with the flags of 20 countries attached to the horseshoe mascot in front of the radiator of their car, drove into the reception hall of the Motel Rembrandt at Cambridge and concluded a motor trip round the world. The two men had covered 18,000 miles and visited Canada, the United States, New Zealand, Australia, India, Persia, and Europe. Mr Dixon stated that the most difficult section of the Journey was across the Australian desert. The two front tyres were not changed since they started; the rear ones were replaced once.
