REPORTS PROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, December 17. Boisterous south-west weather eontinues at Auckland, but to-day was fine. The barometer is steady at 29.75 in. WELLINGTON, December 17. The strong southerly wind which I sprang up on Monday night continued ; m Wellington to-day. There were aceomj panymg rain squalls in the morning, but, the afternoon was fine, with some | hours of bright sunshine. The south i w ihd, however, still continues, and the night is cold. ■ : CHRISTCHURCH, December 17. After showers during the night the I weather cleared late in the morning, and | the afternoon was bright and sunny, though a strong to a high wind con- ■ tinued from the south-west. The maxi--1 mum temperature, was 58 deg. The barometer’ has remained at 29.90 all day.
