WORLD’S BEST COACH STATION.

" MOTOKIA LONDON".” London is to have the largest and bestequipped motor-coach station in the the world. Plans are nearing completion for a roofed-in depot occupying about five acres of a site near Victoria Station, not far from the present central station of the London Coastal coaches in Lupus street, which is an association of 16 companies. The new station, which is expected to be ready by next summer, and will be capable of dealing with over 100,000 passengers and 1500 vehicles, will probably be called “Motoria, London.” Coaches will leave like clockwork, according to a new timetable, for all parts of the country. Under the vast glass roof them will be waiting rooms, refreshment bars, libraries, and lounges. Luggage will be handled by smartlyuniformed porters, and troubie-free service will be the aim. It is intended that special coaches shall be reserved for the carrying of luggage only. They will precede the passenger coaches and deposit luggage well before the owner’s arrival. There is an idea that a large hotel may be erected on the site to provide accommodation for passengers who arrive at “ uncivilised hours ” from the far comers of the country.
