FAREWELL CONCERT

On Monday, December 8. in the Town Hall concert chamber, a farewell concert will be given to Miss Meda Paine. The following will assist in the first part of the programme:—Missee Mary Frazer and Mary Martin in a suite for two pianos; Ngaio Garland and Bessie Paine, in a trio for two violins and piano; and Messrs Alfred Walmsley and William Ruffcll will sing. The second half will be taken up by “The Siege of the Alhambra, a cantata for chorus of women’s vo;ces with solos for soprano, tenor, and baritone. These will be taken by Mrs c-mc Ewart, anc ] Messrs A. Walmsley and William Ruffell Miss Meda Paine will conduct and Mr Charles A. Martin will be at the piano. Tho box plan arrangements are advertised.
