MOSGIEL DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
PREPARATIONS FOR THE JUBILEE. The first step in the preparations for the jubilee of the Mosgiel School was a meeting attended by over 40* parsons interested. v After a general discussion, Mr H. Millar was appointed chairman, and Mr Allan Mitchell secretary and treasurer. . A strong General Committee, with power to add to its number, was set up. ■ A Rolls Committee, consisting of Misses Scott and M. Owens and Messrs M. Hendry, Kaye, and the secretary was appointed.Mr M’Kinnon was appointed editor of the Jubilee Booklet. An ex-Pupils* Association was formed, with a subscription of 2s 6d, ex-teachers and ex-committeemen to be included. A proposed programme will be drawn up and submitted to a public meeting to be held next Tuesday evening. / ,
